Jörmungandr, also known as the Midgard Serpent (Miðgarðsormr) or World Serpent, is a sea creature in Norse Mythology. It is said Jörmungandr grew so large that he was able to surround the earth and grasp its own tail - resembling that of an ouroboros, a prevalent theme in Project Orochi.
